We’re celebrating after receiving an achievement award from the British Standards Institution (BSI) following up to 30 years of successful accreditation (April 2024).
We were recently recognised for our decades of environmental, management and health and safety awards by the BSI, which is one of the world’s largest certification bodies.
Our Chairman, Graham Bentley, who initially instigated our Quality Assurance System in 1994, explains: “I am thrilled that we have achieved this incredible milestone, it shows our huge commitment to quality here.
“It’s a tremendous achievement, as there aren’t many companies that reach this landmark in their development. Our thanks go to our current Quality and Environmental Management System (QEMS) Manager, Will Hitch for his ongoing commitment to sustaining our high standards and our ongoing dedication to the environment. We have been accredited for Quality Assurance for 30 years and Environmental Management for 20 years.”
BSI produces technical standards for a wide range of products and services. It audits and provides certification to companies worldwide that implement measurable management systems.
We’re accredited by BSI to ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 14001 Environmental Management and ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety.
ISO 9001 helps firms likes us monitor and continually improve the quality of their products and services.
This standard not only streamlines operations but also emphasises the importance of constantly adapting to meet customer needs, thereby fostering a culture of continuous development and excellence.
Graham adds: “ISO 14001 is all about reducing our environmental impact through our operations, which not only contributes to a healthier planet, but also inspires customer and team trust and demonstrates our commitment to sustainability. It provides a framework through which we can measure and continually improve our environmental performance.”
ISO 45001 is all about prioritising the health and happiness of a company’s workforce to create a more successful, resilient organisation.
This management system standard enables organisations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by reducing the risks of work-related injury, as well as by continually improving their occupational health and safety (OH&S) performance.
